Ingredients:

  • 6 or 12 eggs
  • Water
  • Vinegar/salt

Procedure:

All you need is a pot with a lot of water in it. Now take 6 to 12 eggs and place them in the pot. The eggs should dip deeper in the water, and the water level should be one or two inches above them.

The water level is dependent on the concentration of the eggs. If you take 6 eggs, the water level should be one inch above the eggs. But if you boil double the amount of eggs, the water level will also double two inches.

Now turn on the heat to the max and let the water boil. Add half a teaspoon of vinegar or salt to the water, so the eggs stay intact. During boiling, the eggs strike the walls of the pot or each other, which may cause breakage of the shell. Vinegar and salt will help to keep the shell intact. Also, the peeling will be easy.

Bottom Line

After 5 to 7 minutes of a full boil, turn off the heat and let the lid cover the pot. Now allow the eggs to simmer for about 10 to 12 minutes. The time varies between 10 minutes to 12 minutes. After 10 minutes, you can take one egg out and place it under cold water.

If the egg is done, take off the other eggs as well but if it needs further time, let them simmer for at least two more minutes. visit here
