Customer Acquisition Cost

Clickthrough Rate

Your clickthrough rate is the number of clicks your advertisement receives versus how many impressions or views it has.  So if you got five clicks out of five hundred impressions, your CRT is 1%.

Cost Per Click

Cost per click refers to how much money you spent on an advertisement: versus how many clicks it got.  For instance, if you spent $100 on an advertisement and you got 200 clicks, your cost per click is fifty cents.


Impressions are the number of times your content or advertisement has been shown to users on that website.  Your clickthrough rate is measured by checking how many advertisement clicks you have against how many impressions the advertisement had.
