Emirates is an innovative airline that keeps redefining luxury on board, and pushing the boundaries of what travelling on a plane can be like. Two years ago, they made a huge splash when they introduced shower suites for first class passengers on their A380 fleet. Now, Emirates is back with what promises to be a game changer in luxury flights: fully private first class suites for the Boeing 777 fleet.
Total Control and Seamless Service
Emirates’ new Boeing 777 fleet will each have six exclusive private suites on board. The individual suites provide utmost privacy away from the prying eyes of fellow passengers, and everything you need is available at the touch of a button. You can adjust your seat position, and set the mood with your personal lighting and temperature controller. Requesting room service is as easy as using the video call function in the suite, which will connect you to a crew member. The suites also come with service windows, so passengers can be served beverages and canapes without being disturbed.
Relax in Luxury
The soft leather seat features a unique ‘zero gravity’ position, inspired by NASA technology. It gives passengers a feeling of relaxation and weightlessness. Lie back and enjoy in-flight entertainment on the 32-inch Full HD LCD TV screen. Choose from 2,500 channels or project content from your own devices. The brand new Bowers & Wilkins Active Noise Cancelling E1 headphones, created exclusively for Emirates, will surely enhance your viewing experience.
Pamper Yourself On Board
When you are ready to snooze, slip into the complementary Hydra Active Moisturising Pyjamas. It uses Hydra Active Microcapsule Technology to keep your skin soft while flying. The fabric will gently release naturally nutrient rich sea kelp as you move around, preventing dehydration and stimulating circulation. You can also pamper yourself with the inspiration kit that comes with the suite, which features a luxury Byredo skincare collection exclusive to Emirates, and Bulgari amenity kits.
The view from a plane window is always breathtaking, and missing the view because you are in the middle aisle is a real bummer. To ensure all first class passengers have a view, Emirates is introducing the industry’s first virtual windows for the suites located in the middle aisle. Using real time camera technology, these virtual windows project the view from outside the aircraft. For passengers seated on either side of the cabin, binoculars are available for them to explore the sky outside their windows.
Created by a World Class Team
These luxury suites are crafted by a world class team. Inspired by Mercedes-Benz, Emirates collaborated with Boeing, Rockwell Collins interior systems, Panasonic, Jacques Pierre Jean Design studio and Seattle-based design firm Teague to create the latest in luxury flight experiences.
If first class is a bit steep for you, Emirates has also revamped the business and economy classes to make flights a more enjoyable experience for everyone. The softer colour palette, more ergonomic seats, and other upgrades will surely help you relax as you travel. You can now find all these upgrades in Emirates’ Boeing 777 fleet.
