Christmas is just around the corner, and that usually means we’re loading up on festive delicacies. After a lovely holiday gathering, it’s important to balance it out with some exercise. Besides, you might be considering making ‘workout more’ your New Year’s resolution. With OctoFit by Level 10, you can no longer say that ‘the gym is too far from home/work’ and wiggle out of your promise. This home fitness device lets you practice a range of workout routines of varying intensity at home.
One Gadget for Multiple Routines
OctoFit is a set of workout device, centered around the versatile, octagonal base. With various attachments and routines, you can do all sorts of training with it. Firstly, there’s the base, OctoFit Disc. It functions as a fitness step. Add the Riser to make it taller for a greater challenge. Alternatively, take it off the Riser, and use the balanced dome underneath the Disc for some core strength training. Additional exercise bands of varying weights can train your strength and endurance.
On-Demand Workout Library
One benefit of going to the gym is the training programmes and personal trainers. Just because you’re exercising at home, however, doesn’t mean you have to be fumbling with your equipment. Along with the device, Level 10 created an on-demand workout library. This library contains video classes taught by certified trainers. That way, it wouldn’t feel like you’re just hopping around alone at home. Besides, you can even track and share your performance live, so you can know your own body better.
Adjust OctoFit to Your Needs
Any good workout equipment should be adjustable to the user’s needs, and OctoFit is no different. There are three types of exercise bands that you can add to your device: mid to overhead, upper body, and lower body. The overhead and lower body bands come in 10lbs or 20lbs. Whereas for upper body bands, you get to choose between 15lbs and 20lbs. Additional bands are also available if you’re looking for a stronger resistance. The upper body and lower body bands come with handles and belts to facilitate your workout.
OctoFit is now live on Kickstarter, with just 5 days to go in their campaign. For USD259, you get a Disc, a Riser, 6 sets of resistance cords, and unlimited access to the on-demand workout library. You can also get the even more discounted multi-packs for a group workout. It is expected to ship in February, giving that timely boost right when most people start failing their New Year’s resolutions.
