We are exactly 10 days from Christmas, and if you celebrate this holiday, you don’t have long left to get presents for your loved ones. Drone is a popular choice; their prices have gone down a lot. At the same time, their specs and number of functions have gone up. If you’re hoping to get one, I’d like to recommend Aura, a drone from KD Interactive. This drone is something straight out of sci-fi movies, and will surely delight whoever receives it.
What makes Aura so special? It’s the gesture control. Unlike most drones that use joysticks or controllers, you can control Aura with just your hands. Well, technically, your hands and the glove controller. It’s a black, stretchy glove with a round controller interface, strapped to your hand with two Velcro strips so you won’t accidentally send it flying into the TV. This makes controlling the drone easy with a few intuitive gestures. Fingers down to go forward, pressed back to go backward, and so on. One touch of the buttons on the glove lets you do tricks or land the drone with no trouble.
Aura is Safe for Indoor Flights
This drone is built for children to use, so it is designed to be fit for flying indoors. The protective cage prevents the blades from snagging curtains or hairs and stops little kids from touching the blades. The cage also softens the blow should the drone crash into something. It has a flight time of 6 minutes, which, clearly, isn’t a long one. But it is perfect for a swoop around the living room, showing off a few tricks, and sticking a safe landing.
Don’t Get Jealous of Your Kids!
Aura is a drone designed for kids aged 6 and up. It does not come with most features we associate with drones, like bells and whistles, or cameras for swooping shots. However, getting to control with your hands is great fun. Reviewers at Forbes even say that the drone is “better designed and more fun to fly than the adult’s versions that cost ten times as much.” As an added bonus, the control interface on the glove looks like Iron Man’s repulsor beam, so if your kids are into superhero movies, that will surely make them excited. (And thus the ‘_ days since Edna made an Avengers reference’ counter at Whoopzz resets to 0.)
Aura is now available on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2j3H5nR for USD89. If you’re ready to learn how to do tricks with Aura, check out the video below:
